Atoll Group: Company Overview and Evolution

Founded by the visionary Mr. Jayantibhai P. Patel, the Atoll Group traces its roots back to India over five decades ago, originally operating under the name Parekh Group of Companies. Over the years, it has evolved into a diversified multinational group with operations across India, Brunei, Africa, and Australia, under the unified identity of Atoll Group.

Today, Atoll Group operates in a wide array of sectors including Agriculture, Real Estate, Hospitality, Chemical, Cosmetics, Cold Chain Logistics, Industrial Gases & Equipment, pharma, pigments, Rubber & Plastic Recycling.

The Brunei operations of Atoll Group are led by Atoll Oxygen Sdn Bhd and Atoll Agro & Cold Storage Sdn Bhd. Established in 2011, Atoll Oxygen Sdn Bhd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of medical and industrial gases in the region. The company produces a wide range of gases including Oxygen, Nitrogen , Argon, Helium, Carbon Dioxide, Acetylene, mixed gases, purified gases, as well as Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Argon, and Liquid CO₂.

Atoll Oxygen is certified for Quality Management System ISO 9001; Environmental Management System ISO 14001; & Occupational Health & Safety Management System ISO 45001; reflecting its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and workplace safety.

In September 2023, Atoll Group expanded into the food processing industry with the establishment of Atoll Agro & Cold Storage Sdn Bhd in Brunei. Operating under the brand name Mantap®, the facility currently manufactures seven high-quality food products, with plans to introduce new offerings and begin exports to ASEAN and other Asian markets by the third quarter of 2025.

The facility is Halal-certified by the Brunei Religious Ministry and maintains the highest standards of food safety and quality. It is proudly accredited with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System) certifications, ensuring full compliance with international food safety regulations.
